The Dinwiddie County Planning Commission is established under the authority of the Code of Virginia to make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors of Dinwiddie County and to assist the Board of Supervisors and County staff in the administration of the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances, the Comprehensive Plan, and with other policies and matters affecting the general welfare, development and growth of the County.

- 1 – At Large (Rural)
- 1 – At Large (Urban)
- Meeting Schedule: Dinwiddie Government Center Board Meeting Room – 2nd Wednesday (Monthly)
- 7:00 PM (Workshops at 6:00 PM as needed)
- Term: Four (4) Years
- Paid:$150 per Month (Chairman extra)
